The house is situated in the centre of the historic district of Beyoglu, just below Istliklal Caddesi, the famous pedestrian boulevard. This is where the most beautiful cafes are, as well as the most interesting pubs, the best music and the famous picturesque fish market.

The Galata Tower, one of the town’s landmarks, is within two minutes walking distance, as is the tram and the subterranean cog railway (Tunel)

There is easy access across the bridge to the old area of Istanbul with its well known mosques, the Grand Bazaar, and Topkapi Palce.
